Terms of Service
These terms set out the rules for using AuroOrch and where each side’s responsibility ends. Please read “Risks of device control” and “Limitation of liability” in full — they bear on your safety and on who carries a loss.
1. Accepting these terms
These terms form an agreement between you and 东莞市曜控智能科技有限公司 (Dongguan-registered entity) about your use of AuroOrch. Registering, signing in, or using the app means you have read, understood and accepted them together with the Privacy Policy.
If any part of them is unacceptable to you, please stop using the app.
2. Your account
Register with accurate details and take responsibility for what happens under your account. Keep your credentials to yourself.
Tell us immediately if your account is used without authorisation. We cannot cover losses caused by your own failure to keep credentials safe.
You may close your account at any time. We then handle your data under clause 6 of the Privacy Policy; the action cannot be undone.
3. What the service does
The app monitors plants and devices, sets parameters, runs energy strategies, delivers alarms, produces reports, and offers an AI assistant. What the app actually offers at any time governs.
We may change or suspend features for upgrades, maintenance or legal reasons. Significant changes are announced in the app beforehand.
4. Risks of device control (important)
The app can send parameters and commands to your inverter, storage and other equipment. Wrong parameters can stop a device, trigger protection, cost you generation, damage hardware, or create a safety incident.
Grid-safety parameters — voltage and frequency limits, anti-islanding and the like — are mandated by the grid, are usually installer-only, and must follow local code. Do not work around them.
Control depends on the network and the data logger. An outage, an offline logger, or the device’s own protection can all mean a command never arrives or never runs. What the app reports is the state we know of, not a guarantee that the device is behaving as intended.
For anything touching safety, the equipment manual and your installer’s professional judgement govern. Installation, wiring and commissioning must be done by qualified people.
5. The AI assistant
The assistant generates answers with a model and can be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Its analysis and suggestions are advisory and are not professional electrical, investment or legal advice.
The assistant never writes to a device on its own; you confirm each change before it is sent.
Using AI features sends the relevant content to a third-party model platform, as described in clause 5 of the Privacy Policy. Please do not type anything into the conversation that you would not want transmitted.
6. How you may use it
Do not use the app for unlawful purposes; do not upload unlawful, infringing, abusive or false content; do not attack, scrape or reverse-engineer the app or its APIs; do not interfere with other users.
Community content is the poster’s responsibility. We may remove content, restrict, or suspend accounts that break these rules.
7. Intellectual property
The software, interface, icons, documentation and other assets belong to us or their respective owners. Do not copy, modify, distribute or commercialise them without permission.
Content you upload stays yours. You grant us the licence needed to display it and run the service.
8. Third-party services
The app integrates third-party model, map and cloud services. Those run on their providers’ own terms, and we do not guarantee their availability or output.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the app is provided “as is”. We are not liable for losses arising from network or equipment failure, third-party outages, force majeure, or your not following instructions.
Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including personal injury caused by our intent or gross negligence.
10. Changes and disputes
We may revise these terms and will publish the revision in the app. Significant changes are flagged prominently; continuing to use the app accepts them.
These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. Disputes should first be discussed in good faith; failing that, they go to the competent court where 东莞市曜控智能科技有限公司 (Dongguan-registered entity) is domiciled.
